Named “Best Hybrid” many years running by Wirecutter it’s built around a lightweight Series 1 aluminium frame and a sturdy CrMo fork and comes with a 3x7-speed Shimano drivetrain, Clark’s mechanical disc brakes and plenty of reliable Marin components.
SERIES 1 FRAME - Series 1 frames feature 6061 aluminium tubing, disc brake mounts, and fender and rack mounts.
DISC BRAKES - Disc brakes on all Fairfax models provide smooth, controlled stopping in all conditions with minimal maintenance.
STEP THROUGH DESIGN
The Fairfax 1 ST features a step-through frame design with a lowered toptube for easier mounting and dismounting.
